Sydney was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and has been living in southern California for 5 years now. She recently graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelors in science for Environmental Science and a minor in Spanish. During her time at SDSU, she sought out projects that examined the relationship between culture and the environment. Growing up in the Texas hill country influenced her passion for protecting the environment and learning spanish. She is dedicated to teaching others about the importance of sustainability and making nature accessible for everyone.
