Join us for a morning of hot-composting and vermicomposting with Asilia, one of our amazing CA Climate Action Fellows!
What to expect: 🌱🐝💦
We will be taking our skills into the realm of organic waste diversion in the form of hot-composting and vermicomposting, led by Asilia Diaz Vasquez (they/she/he), one of our amazing CA Climate Action Fellows! Whether you are new to composting, have never tried it, or have plenty of experience - all skill levels are welcome. As we get our hands dirty (and stinky...and also wet!), Asilia will teach us about composting and about the cultural center, and our efforts at this event will contribute to the community garden, named Mat Ichech, adjacent to the center.
