About the event
During winter, numerous migratory shorebirds make a stop or settle for the season in the San Diego Bay. It's the perfect time to explore the San Diego Bay National Wildlife Refuge, observing, identifying, and documenting these migratory birds and local resident birds! We'll record our sightings using phone application tools like Merlin and eBird, actively participating in community science. We can't wait to see you there!
Please be sure to wear sunscreen, a hat, closed-toed shoes, and bring water and binoculars (if you have them)!
