What to expect: 🗣️🌱🐾

Neve is a Kumeyaay descendent who will speak on the Kumeyaay perspective of conservation and environmental education! Snacks and coffee will be provided.


About Neve:

"Haawka! My name is Neve Luna, I am a Kumeyaay descendant & San Diego native who grew up on the San Pasqual Reservation in Valley Center. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from the University of Oregon and am currently working part-time at the San Diego Safari Park as an ex-situ Safari tour guide, and part-time at the San Diego Archaeological Center as a Tribal Outreach Coordinator. Being raised on a Reservation instilled an identity rooted in Kumeyaay culture, language, and traditional ecological knowledge. This sparked my…
