Coordinador de Educación
Rosa is a native San Diegan, growing up in a multi-cultural community in City Heights, where she came to appreciate the amazing cultures and delicious food diversity brings. She attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, graduating in 2016 with a B.A. Environmental Studies and minors in Science and Mathematical Education and Spanish. Since then, Rosa has dove into the world of education as an informal science instructor, after-school program leader, and recreation leader for a youth center. She is glad to now be part of the EDI team, as a Bilingual Field Instructor, where her passion of community, education, equity and science can be combined into an amazing experience for the youth of San Diego County. In Rosa’s free time, she likes to play video games and one of her many arts and craft hobbies, especially crocheting and knitting.
