Ida Kaller-Vincent

Ida is a marine and wildlife biologist with over 20 years of experience dedicated to conserving biodiversity and protecting endangered and threatened species and their habitats. As Executive Director of Earth Discovery Institute, she leads the organization’s strategic direction, guiding its work in conservation, community engagement, and access to nature.

Her work spans the nonprofit, government, academic, and consulting sectors across multiple countries, where she has led research expeditions, managed large-scale conservation and restoration projects, and built partnerships across diverse stakeholders. Ida brings a collaborative, community-centered approach to leadership, working closely with local communities to develop sustainable solutions that align conservation goals with community needs and long-term stewardship. Facilitating equitable participation in conservation initiatives.

Ida holds a B.S. in Marine Biology and Zoology and an Honors Degree in Marine Biology from the University of Queensland. A Master’s degree in Environmental Science from Murdoch University. She also holds a Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the University of Washington.
