Andrew developed a deep appreciation for nature while growing up kayaking the swamps in Maryland and exploring the woods of North Carolina. His family showed him the value of environmental stewardship at a young age, which has stayed with him throughout his life and inspired him to complete a degree in Zoology. Now residing in San Diego, he enjoys working with Earth Discovery Institute to support native biodiversity and give back to the community. With a love for adventure, he enjoys traveling with his wife where they can enjoy hiking and rock climbing as ways of connecting with the natural world.
