Fall 2009 Native Plant Sale

Native Plants/Expert Advisors/Kids Activities

The native plant sale will benefit EDI's education and restoration programs at Crestridge. Most plants will be local natives in 1-gallon containers. Native plant experts will be on hand to assist you with selection. Most plants are $7.50 or 3 for $20. Kids activities will include owl pellet dissection, building a bird feeder, or making an animal track. The sale will take place near the Horsemill entrance to Crestridge Ecological Reserve; 1171 Horsemill Road, El Cajon (Crest), CA, 92021.

Directions:

  • I-8 to Greenfield Drive
  • East on Greenfield to La Cresta
  • Up the hill on La Cresta for 3 miles
  • At top of hill, turn left onto Mountain View
  • Stay on Mountain View for 1.1 miles
  • Turn left on Horsemill Road
  • Continue to end. Park. Walk in on dirt road behind gate.
